Don was born in Ridder, Lousiana in 1946, but he was raised all over the country.  He worked for Mosler Inc./ADT Bank Vault & Alarm Security for 45 years.  In 1973, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth, and they were both saved in 1975.  Don and Liz lived in Meridian, Mississippi for 41 years where they served State Blvd. Baptist Church as youth ministers.  Don was on the Board of Trustees (Elders) at Collinsville Church of God in Collinsville, and he was also a deacon and bible teacher at Westwood Baptist Church in Meridian.  Don and Liz relocated to Homosassa, Florida in 2013 after Don retired in 2012.  They both attended First Baptist Church of Homosassa where he was a deacon and home bible teacher.  Both he and Liz were in the choir, Liz played piano and he played backup guitar.  They both joined First Christian Church and continue to contribute their gifts, both with Don as an Elder, and he and Liz as part of the Praise Team.  Don says “We are both thankful to serve with the people of First Christian Church in whatever capacity we can.  This is a loving church that has taken us in as part of the family that they are.  We will serve our God faithfully along with all of you!”
